Bed Size Guide | Find Your Bed Size
It can be so difficult to find out which bedding size and fit you need. With many retailers, manufacturers, online blogs and more producing different information, identifying the linen sizes that fit your bed can be confusing and frustrating. Here is our fantastic guide to selecting the correct size bed linen for your mattress and bed. We stock a huge range of bedding sizes, but please don't go by the name because Queen for example can be the name for many different sizes. Just measure the flat surface area of your mattress width then length and allow for the depth of your mattress separately.
If you are buying a fitted sheet or mattress protector we will state the depth separately to the width and length of the mattress. It is best to buy your fitted sheet or mattress protector at least 2 - 3 inch (8cm) deeper than your mattress to allow for a good tuck in and avoid the common problem of your sheets coming off in the night. For example you would not put a 12" (30cm) fitted sheet on a 12" (30cm) mattress it would not be deep enough, you would need the extra deep 15" (38cm).
Bed mattresses can vary so much now in width, length and depth. There is not often a standard anymore so always check these 3 measurements and use our guide below to find the correct size bedding for your mattress and bed. Getting the size right is incredibly important in building the best bedding possible. But with UK standard and continental sizing options available, it can be a bit confusing. Before picking your bedding and bedlinen, you’ll need to know how big your bed is.
