Misleading thread count?
In recent years many major department and online stores have been found out for twisting fibres together and for calling 200 thread count a 400 thread count. The other new tactic is to cheapen products with blends, stating Egyptian Cotton online but it could be as low as 20% actual Egyptian Cotton. The third trick at the moment is it is impossible to find out what thread count you are buying, everything is just a name and not a thread count.
