Emperor Bedding vs Large Emperor Bedding
The terms Emperor Duvet and Emperor Duvet Cover are the recognised standard sizes for all emperor beds. As an Emperor mattress can be a significant investment, we always recommend the use of an Emperor Mattress Protector. And for a well proportioned, luxurious Emperor bed, we suggest Emperor Pillows - they look and feel amazing!
Do you have a LARGE Emperor bed?
Large Emperor beds are 215cm x 215cm (7ft x 7ft). Owners of Large Emperor beds sometimes mistakenly refer to them as Emperor. This can lead to ill-fitting sheets, covers and toppers. For all the same reasons mentioned above, it's always better to buy perfectly fitting bedding. As you'd expect, we stock an impressive range of Large Emperor bedding and you can view it here.
*It's worth noting that when two metric single beds 3ft 3" x 6ft 6" (100 x 200cm) are zipped and linked together or placed side by side they make an Emperor bed.
