Encased in the finest 100% Cotton Batiste 350 thread count with a golden piped edge which is affectionately known locally as "Pignoletto" after the beautiful colour of the local, crisp, aromatic sparkling white wine.
What Is Batiste?
100% cotton batiste is a lightweight, opaque to semi-sheer, plain weave fabric known for it's exceptional softness, smooth texture, and breathability. Made from high thread count mercerised fine cotton, it is extremely durable yet delicate and generally reserved for the finest blouses, handkerchiefs, nightgowns and lingerie.
