When you're buying somewhere for your baby to sleep, a cot isn't the only option. A cot bed is longer and wider than standard cots, so it grows with your child. When a cot is too small but a standard bed doesn’t offer the necessary protection, a cot bed assures the perfect combination of safety and comfort, our selection of 2ft 3" x 4ft 7" (70 x 140cm) bedding will perfectly fit Cot Beds giving you the trusted support and comfort to your little one.
Your new arrival needs plenty of sleep to grow and develop – and the more they sleep, the more you parents get to rest too! That's why it's so important for baby to get the cosiest night's sleep in a comfy cot bed.
Here at the linen Cupboard we often get asked what's the difference between a Cot and a Cot Bed. Don't worry we understand the confusion, there are many similarities between the two, but there's a key difference that sets them apart the longevity of the bed.
The difference from a Cot 100 x 120cm (39 x 47"), to a Cot Bed 120 x 150cm (47 x 59") is the Cot Bed usually has removable sides and an end panel. The purpose of the end panel is for use to convert it to a short, low bed for a toddler. A Cot Bed is larger than a Cot, but smaller than a single bed. It requires a mattress and bedding designed specifically for it.
